China Guangzhou International Golf Show which was hosted by the China Golf Association
and China International Economic and Technological Center, organized by the Guangzhou
Jinhan Exhibition Center and China Prosperity (Beijing) Culture Media Co. Ltd.
and with the theme of golf new product introduce and order as well was successfully
closed in Jinhan Exhibition Center Guangzhou, China on 6th, March, 2004. Mr. Zhao
Nan Qi ,former Vice-Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference,
Mr. He Zhen Liang, honorary president of the China Olympic Committee, Mr. Hu Jian
Guo, Vice-president of China Golf Association, Mr. Duncan Weir, Secretary of Development
Department of St-Andrews Royal Ancient Golf Club attended the open ceremony. The
Golf Show is the biggest event of the China industry in southern China. With the
topic of Innovative Subject and Advanced Service, the Show attracted 82 exhibitors
worldwide to exhibits in the area of 6000 square meters. Among all the exhibitors,
15% of them are from abroad. Nowadays, the economic development of our country
has stepped into an important period, the GDP increase 9.1% in 2003 and reaches
the total sum of 1.167 billion Yuan. That means 1090 USD for every person. This
symbolize our country's economy have enter into a new increasing phase. As to
the measurement of the Chinese Scientific Academy, middle class means the families
that owns the properties equivalent to 150 to 300 thousand Yuan and nowadays 49%
families in China agree to this measurement., considering the fact that most of
the county families get the lower income in China, we can ultimately calculate
that the numbers of the medium-income class will take the proportion of 19% of
that of the whole country. That means, theoretically, the numbers of consuming
group and the course construction will increase 9.1% annually. In the next 10
years, the number of our country's golf course will reach 400-500. The increasing
number of the golf courses and the consuming group will surely results into the
increasing sales of the golf apparels and clubs. The China Golf Show, base
on the marketing request, devotes to meeting the exhibitors varied demands. As
the organizer of the Show, Jinhan Exhibition Center although owns the advanced
condition of processing abundant fund and professional experience in exhibition,
besides it also has its own exhibition hall. But it still faces lots of difficulties
when organizing the show. First is the spreading of the SARS last year, secondly,
Jinhan exhibition center was challenged by lots of counterparts into the golf
exhibition market, the third one is its first time to organize golf exhibition. Further
to the charge person of the organizer of the Show, there are approximately 8-11
Golf exhibitions in China this year and last year. As the promoting platform of
the products and corporation image, the show gained the favorite reputation among
the manufacturers. An Exhibition with no definite topic can not resolve the exhibitor's
practical difficulties and satisfy exhibitors need. It will be definitely failed.
China Guangzhou International Golf Show, which was planned to be held in
Nov. last year was postponed to March, this year because the break out of SARS.
For golf exhibitors, March of every year is the golden period to introduce and
promote the newly invented product. The number of buyers and visitors is
one of the key factors for a successful exhibition. After the postpone of the
show, we found a special working group. The China Golf Show Development
Forum with the theme of Golf Sport and Tournament was held at the same time of
the Golf Show. For its professional service and definite topic position, it attracted
representatives from US, England, Australia, Malaysia, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong
and Chinese Taipei as speakers and visitors to reversely guarantee the quality
and quantity of the Golf Show. Additionally, according to the different
characters of the golf products, we create a promoting and effective platform
for the exhibitors to exhibit there new product, desire varied activities to satisfy
the exhibitors need. As per the introduction of the charge person of the
organizer, internationalization is the advantage of the China Guangzhou International
Golf Show. The China Golf Development Forum, based on the professional service
, attracted conference visitors from USA, Australia, England, Korea and Japan
and the representatives from the renowned St-Andrews Golf Club, European PGA Tour
and the US golf management corp. 250 people attend the Conference, most of them
are from our country's golf clubs, golf associations and golf consulting companies.
In order to make convenient contact between the domestic and the overseas exhibitors,
we do all our best to invite the famous international golf exhibitors to take
part in our show, most of which are renowned international golf brands, such as
Taylormade, Adidas, Callaway, Odyssey, Gicoo, Macgregor, Toro, Pan Eagle, Primus,
Henry Griffitts and so forth. The exhibition area reach to 6000 square meters. |
